David Ward takes on technical director role at Lewis PartnershipAmmanford architect David Ward has been promoted to a new role with the award-winning South Wales architects the Lewis Partnership Ltd. The Llanelli-based firm has a growing portfolio of work projects in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. “David’s elevation to technical director from associate director adds further weight to an already experienced team at the Lewis Partnership,” said managing director Philip Lewis. “He is a key player in the continued development of the team at the Lewis Partnership and all his colleagues are delighted he has now been elevated to the position of technical director.” David joined what was then the firm of Wynford and Philip Lewis, Architects and Surveyors, in 1997 as an Architectural Technician, while continuing to read for his BSc Degree in Building Surveying. He became involved in various projects from inception to completion, gaining experience in comprehensive design and detailing work, measured survey work, site supervision and contract administration. David became eligible for his Degree in January 2000 and was promoted to full time Architectural Technologist. He was admitted to the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (C.I.A.T.) as an Associate Member in May 2001. In 2007, David was made Associate Director of the Lewis Partnership Ltd. David said: “It is exciting to work for such a well-respected and ambitious firm of architects. Our projects are not confined to one corner of Carmarthenshire. Increasingly, we are finding clients further afield in Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.” Projects supervised by David include -
