Jobcentre Plus are holding a Recruitment Open Day for Pegasus Homecare in Llanelli Jobcentre on Thursday 5th January 2012 between 10am -2pm.

Care asst Llanelli 

• £6.35-£6.85 ph

• 16+ per week, 5 days over 7, hours of work between 7:00AM-10:00PM

• Permanent.

Applicant must be 18+ and have good interpersonal skills, and engage with client's and build relationships.  Experience is preferred but not essential as the company have an excellent training programme.  QCF level 2 and level 3 in social care and housing are available to staff.  Applicant must have a driving licence and access to transport as will be required to travel around the area.

Duties will include providing personal care, and support including medication, meal preparation some domestic duties shopping and any other tasks as required to vulnerable adults in their own home.

The company offers a pension scheme and enhancement payments for evening and weekend work.  Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.

Disclosure expense will be met by applicant.  If applicants are successful then they will be invited to attend the induction day which is scheduled for 9th January 2012.
