The Gower Folk Festival, over the weekend of 14-16th June was a wonderful time. This is the 20th year of the festival and it was held in the Greyhound Inn, Oldwalls, organised by the Halfpenny Folk Club. Previously it was at the Gower Heritage Centre.

As part of the ongoing All Wales Summer Anti Drink/Drug Drive campaign 2013, officers from Dyfed Powys Police's Carmarthenshire Special Constabulary carried out high visibility static stop check points on the A484 at Pembrey, and Pontardulais Road in Llangennech on Sunday 16 June.
