CARMARTHENSHIRE Domestic Abuse Forum has bought new alarms to help victims protect themselves – thanks to support from the Community Safety Partnership.

The weather’s finally getting warmer and bathing season is just around the corner so Keep Wales Tidy is asking communities across Wales to get together to tidy up our beaches

In an effort to tackle the anti-social and dangerous riding of motorcycles with a view to reduce road traffic casualties, officers from Dyfed Powys Roads Policing Unit conducted an operation over the last two weekends targeting those roads used by that small minority of motorcycle enthusiasts who show little regard to road safety.

An investigation is ongoing following a serious road traffic collision which happened on the B4309 between Furnace and Five Roads at about 6pm on Tuesday 7th May.

At today’s full meeting of Carmarthenshire County Counil, the Labour Group backed that the Council write to the Welsh Government Health Minister, Mark Drakeford AM, asking him to meet with a cross party group of Councillors from Carmarthenshire.

The Carmarthenshire Labour group of Councillors today supported the creation of a protocol for those being awarded the freedom of Carmarthenshire. Being awarded the freedom of the county is an exceptional award, and is only given in rare circumstances to those who have given exceptional service to the community of the county.

Last night I was watching one of the most entertaining TV show’s I have seen in a long time. It was on God.TV and it had this guy, Todd Bentley, doing some “faith healing” and at first it was very, very funny. Then I realised what he was doing and it made me angry.
