Damaged car leads to appeal for information

On the evening of the 17th of January 2012 at 9pm a man was disturbed searching through a vehicle which was parked on a driveway in Bronwydd Road, Carmarthen.

He was disturbed by a member of the public. Nothing was taken from the vehicle which had been left unlocked.

The man was in the company of a second man and both made off in the direction of Bronwydd.

The man who was disturbed in the vehicle is described as white, fair haired and wearing dark clothing. His top may have been a hoodie which he put up as he left, and he was described as being slightly taller and smaller built than the other man.

The second man is described as white,  between 5'10"-5'11", of stocky build and with dark, short, unkempt hair. He is clean shaven and was wearing a dark coloured zipper or cardigan. Beneath this was a white top and wore blue jeans he was speaking on his mobile as he passed.

Anybody who saw anything around that time, or who may have seen the people matching these descriptions is asked to please contact Police on 101.

Police would also like to hear from anyone who’s experienced something similar but not reported it.
