Serious assault in Seaside

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left needing hospital treatment following a serious assault in Seaside Park, Llanelli.

The incident happened at approximately 2am on Saturday 11th August.

"A member of the public alerted officers that an assault had taken place," said Detective Inspector Gary Phillips. "The victim was left unconscious and remains in hospital as a result of his injuries".

"Two men have since been charged with wounding and another three persons have been given bail. This was a particularly serious and cowardly attack and I urge anyone who has information relating to this assault to please contact us".
