Looking for the perfect present for that difficult-to-buy-for family member? Then a special fair at the National Botanic Garden of Wales could provide the answer. The Garden’s ‘Gift Fair’ weekend – Saturday and Sunday, November 10-11 – features a wide variety of stallholders offering a rich array of products. If you are on the look-out for Christmas hampers, cards, cool textiles, craft kits, coasters, crystals, candles and cuddly toys, then this is the event for you with all this and much much more gathered under one roof – and what a roof! The Gift Fair takes place in the stunning surrounds of Lord Foster’s Great Glasshouse, which is not only the largest single-span glasshouse on the planet but also guarantees you won’t get rained on – all weekend. Fair organiser Dawn Crisp said: “We’ve put together a great collection of traders selling everything from locally made chocolate, cheese and chilli, to pictures and prints; and birdboxes, beautiful beaded jewellery and slate.” The fair is on from 10am until 4.30pm.
