This is a brilliant spam a lot. The FBI have contacted me to say that I'm due funds. Yes the FBI! They're more likely to contact me over some misdeed, but today I'm due $3 million dollars! Nice Easter present!

This one used to do the rounds on email a few years ago but has now come to prominence on Facebook. In fact, a lot of the old email hoaxes are finding a new lease of life on Facebook.

Would you believe it, it's January and you're skint. then the Tax man emails you to say that you've got a rebate! Sounds wonderful but sadly it's a scam!

Received the following in my spam folder, both on the same day! Slight change on the usual 'there's 20 million dollars in the bank' emails as they say that they are from Christians and are looking for a church to benefit.

This one was received by one of our Facebook friends, a Jacqueline Kent. It features a tried and tested scam where someone contact you about some bank funds that are stuck in an account and they need to use your account to free the money.
