Welcome to The Official webpage of The Llanelli Roundtable's Llanelli Christmas Carnival.
Llanelli's Round Table's Christmas parade is on Friday 18th November. This year it will include the switch-on of the lights, an amazing fireworks display, street entertainment and is set to be more spectacular than ever.
13 floats have entered so, and entrants include the Scarlets, theatre groups, Coedcae School, The Wallich, Jenkins Bakery, Llanelli Gymnastics Club, Llwynhendy Community group, dance groups and Felinfoel and Furnace junior rugby clubs.
"There's every indication it will be the biggest carnival yet!" said Roger Bowen, oen of the organisers. Anyone interested in entering a float can contact Roger Bowen on 07940115864.

This year the town's Christmas carnival capers are launched on Friday, 18th November. There is a Christmas craft fayre in Stepney Street sponsored by St Elli Shopping Centre on the Saturday (20th) and the famous St Elli Centre reindeer parade through the streets of the town to shopping centre follows on Sunday (21st).
A profusion of colourful floats, high class street entertainment including a fairground, staged music and a fantastic fireworks display explodes into the sky above the town on carnival night.
This year Round Tabler's are hopeful that schools, businesses, charity groups and streets entries will keep up the momentum making this year's Llanelli Carnival the best yet.
Carnival Procession
Starts at 6.30pm from Festival Fields then will proceed along Sandy Road – West End - Gelli Onn – Bridge Street – Town Hall Square – Old Castle Road – Waunlanyrafon.
The parade will circle round Ty Elwyn to finish up in front of Old Town Hall for fireworks at 7pm.
How do I enter a float?
To enter a float you need to complete an application form, click here to download one. Then you call one of our two preferred Hauliers Owens 01554 754465 or Greene’s 01269 832990. They do not normally charge for the floats. Don't forget that there are prizes for the best floats. For Carnival queries, please contact Roger Bowen on 01554 750008.
I've heard that insurance is expensive for floats?
The common misconceptions are about Insurance. If the lorry has an accident with you on it you are covered by their motor insurance. I also recommend public liability insurance, most companies and community groups already have this but if you want further advice speak to Graeme Fox at Davies Craddock Insurance group on 01554 778899.
Thanks for the support and sponsorship
